Deposits
Advanced bookings require a 20% deposit (non-refundable)
Online:- within 12 hrs online by using our secure Payments option via this web site on the Payments page.
By post:- We will send you a confirmation letter with an acceptance slip for you to return with your cheque, to be received by us within 7 days to secure your booking.
Until deposits are received by us the booking is regarded as only provisional and therefore can be cancelled by us if deposits are not received as above.
Balance Payments
Please remember your final balance, if due, will be required on your departure date and we at that point can only accept cash or a sterling cheque.
Discounts
1. Any discount/s offered by us in relation to accommodation costs will supersede those in our normaltariff terms as above, (i.e. No further discount for 3 nights or more)
Checking In & Out Policy
1. Checking in time is after 4.30pm please (unless by prior arrangment)
2. Checking out time is by 10.30 am please, to allow us to change/clean rooms for incoming guests.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation/Curtailment or No Show By You The Client
1. All 20% deposits of any booking with us is non- refundable.
2. In the event of a Cancellation/Curtailment or No Show of your booking within 48hrs of your arrival date and full payment has been received by us there will be NO refund.
3. In the same event but your cancellation is outside the 48hr period we will refund 50% of any full payment received by us, less the 20% deposit of the total as @ 1 above.
4. We strongly recommend that you take out a cancellation insurance to cover your costs in such circumstances.
Cancellation By Us
1.In the unlikely event that we have to cancel your booking with us we will make a full refund of the cost of the booking with us to you if full payment has been made, including any deposit made by you. Our liability does not extend beyond this.
2. Cancellation by us would be in circumstances that are beyound our control.
Damages & Breakages
Please take care when staying in our property. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages, which you cause, to the accommodation or its contents. All we ask is that you report any incidents as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant and we may make an additional charge of £20.00 if you did not report the incident.
Liability
We do not accept any liability for damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of our employment.
Young Person Policy
The Wheatcroft is not suitable for children under the age of 12 (twelve) years of age, sorry.
Pets/Animals
We do not cater for animals, except guidedogs for the blind, or hearing dogs
